For me, working for AOC has been the best career path I could have ever asked for. I have grown as a person and gained many valuable skills and qualifications that have helped me progress into a management role within the company. I love the outdoors and being able to work with nature. I feel lucky to work in such a beautiful environment with an amazing team to produce a world-class product.

I have been working at AOC for the past 18 months and the best part about working at the company is the amazing culture, everyone that I have worked with is very friendly and welcoming. Also, the company truly values its employees and provides opportunities for growth and development.

Having worked at AOC for almost three years, I can confidently say that this experience has been incredibly rewarding. The supportive team environment has helped me thrive and develop my accounting skills. The opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth have been invaluable. I first started as a Process Attendant working out on the processing line, learning what really makes an Appellation Oyster. I was promoted to Factory Foreman and completed my Certificate III in Seafood Post-Harvest Operations. Eager to learn more, I became more involved with the day-to-day operations all the way from farm to table. Fast forward 4 years later, I am now the Batemans Bay Operations Manager and currently enrolled to complete my certificate IV in Seafood Post-Harvest Operations.

As the Marketing Manager at Australia’s Oyster Coast, I have the privilege of sharing our story with the world. Every day, I am inspired by our team's dedication to quality, sustainability and innovation. It’s a joy to promote products that are healthy, sustainable, delicious and favoured by our country's top chefs. Here, every oyster tells a story, and I’m honoured to be part of that narrative.

I joined the team 2 years ago and , since then, I've been providing IT solutions for all aspects of this quite diverse and distributed organisation. Requirements such as farm management, provision of IT in remote locations, logistics management, factory management, inventory tracking and compliance have all been tackled by my small team in this time. It has been great to work for an organisation with a genuine commitment to innovation in its goal to constantly raise the bar as leader in our industry. I look forward to seeing what we can achieve in the coming years.

I joined AOC as their Operational Compliance Lead after a long career in the Fisheries and Marine compliance field within State Government regulatory agencies. The step across to private industry was a breath of fresh air, particularly working with a team of highly motivated individuals in a company leading the way in NSW aquaculture industry. The dynamic nature of AOC’s operations allowed for diversity in the role and an opportunity to constantly build and improve all operational aspects of the business. Never a dull moment.

Australia's Oyster Coast has been a fantastic place to work. The focus on excellence in oyster production, coupled with a supportive team environment, has made my time here truly enjoyable. I've gained valuable experience that will benefit me in my future career endeavours.
